Hi! My name is Allie Day! I grew up in Granbury, Texas living on the lake and truly enjoyed basking in the sun and learning to wakeboard and wind sail. I moved to Austin in 2006 for college. While attending college I worked at many After School Programs through the YMCA and multiple summer camps. I truly found my calling for teaching through those experiences and am grateful for that. I then graduated from Texas State with a Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and am certified to teach Early Childhood-4th Grade and ESL.

I taught many places and grade levels after graduating college. I’ve taught Pre-k, second, and Kindergarten. One of my favorite places to teach was at Lupine Lane in 2014-2018 in the Peacocks Class. I had my son in 2018 and have taken time off raising both of my children since then.

I have enjoyed my time being with my kids, and I am so excited to teach at Lupine Lane again this year! I’m looking forward to a fun and exciting year making memories and watching my students grow, love, and learn! 

In my spare time I love swimming in the pool, or any body of water, with my kids. I play on the Austin Women’s Soccer League on the weekends and it truly holds a special place in my heart! I enjoy running, playing my guitar, and spending time with family and friends!
