Pamela Saxon King

Originally from Houston, Pamela moved to Austin in July 2019.  She fell in love with everything “weird” about the city she now calls home.

Pamela attended Texas A&M University on a theatre performance scholarship and earned a BMEd. in vocal and instrumental music. She went on to attend Baker College and earned a Master’s degree in Business.

Pamela used her experience and education in performing arts to create, develop and lead the Early Childhood Arts Program at the Imagination Stage in Bethesda, Maryland. She has taught in the performing arts for the entirety of her teaching career, including theatre, music and dance.

While fine arts serves as her educational and experiential foundation, Pamela has served as a team lead and school representative for Special Education. Through this work, she gained the distinction of a Certified Autism Specialist. As a mother to 3 adults with Autism, she proudly supports Adventurer’s Academy and Autism Speaks.

When Pamela isn’t teaching or performing, she is with her soulmate, Heath, and their two puppies, Dino and Zoe. Pamela looks forward to sharing her love of performance and the arts as she guides your children with joy!
