We will be reading “Me and My Giant” from Silverstein’s Where The Sidewalk Ends. Then, we’ll make a mini version of ourselves using a wooden frame shaped like a little person!
Lil’ Kinder Cooks and Kinder Cooks
We will be reading “Pancake?” from Silverstein’s Where The Sidewalk Ends. Then, we’ll be making short stacks of pancakes!
Lil’ Music Makers and Music Makers
We’ll begin with our usual greeting songs and then we’ll move on to reviewing our tempo exercises from last week with Wiggy Wiggy Wiggles. Then, we’ll add a new song that also illustrates tempo called The Elephant! In Music Makers we’ll review the names of musical notes and progress to more complex musical notes. We’ll play the Copy Cat rhythm game to get a firm grasp on the notes.
Fun With Photography
This week, we’ll be focusing on lead shots. We’ll take several lead shots outdoors with our reflectors and then come inside to create a classic photo. We’ll learn the best way to create a black and white image in Photoshop! Check out our starry night photo from last week below!
