I grew up in McAllen, Texas with my parents, three younger brothers and sister.  I moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas in 2006 and fell in love with the city immediately.  I played clarinet in the Longhorn Band and met my husband, Jason, there.

I taught at Lupine Lane for nearly a decade, from 2013 to 2022, until my daughter Charlotte, Charlie for short, went to elementary school after attending Lupine Lane from age 2 through the Flamingos Class.  Charlie is now about to finish 2nd grade and her brother, Owen is graduating from Kindergarten this year!  I am glad to be back this school year in the Parrots class!

I have two cats, Bradley and Baxter.  I love reading Harry Potter.  I also love traveling with my family, especially to destinations by the water.
