Back to School Presentations
All of our teachers will be sending their Back to School Presentations to you by September 18. These presentations provide the opportunity to learn more about the school curriculum and general information as well as your child’s class schedule, planned activities, and other areas of interest. Our goal is to inform parents so the school year gets off to a great start!

Reminders for What Your Child Should to Bring to School

• A washed, sanitized, filled water bottle  (water only, please!) each day, labeled with your child’s name. If a child comes without a water bottle, there will be a $20 charge to provide a new LL water bottle.
• Backpack or school bag for carrying items to and from school.
• Ziploc bag labeled with your child’s first and last name with an extra set of clothing in case of accidents (include extra socks and shoes).
• Lupine Lane is always advocating environmentally friendly options, so if you’d like, send a wet/dry bag labeled with your child’s name.
• Healthy Snacks (LL provides nutritious snacks each morning for all classrooms and aftercare; please check the menu.).
• Healthy Lunch (If your child is not on the Lupine Lunch Plan, please send a nutritious lunch.).
• Nap roll, pillow, blanket, lovey if your child will be napping at school and taken home on Friday to be laundered, if your child is in a younger class where they sleep at rest time.
• Rain boots or other water friendly footwear to leave at school for rainy day use (optional)

Drop Off
Our doors open at 8:30am. We encourage you to arrive with your child each day as close to the start of our school day as possible. This will help children make a smooth transition from home to school and give them some time to bond with new friends.

Pick Up
For safety and convenience, please wait outside in the front parking lot area when you arrive to pick up your child. A staff member will let the teachers know you’re here, and one of them will walk your child to meet you. Once children are in your care, please be mindful of their whereabouts while we continue to quickly and safely release all students to their parents/caregivers. If you have a babysitter, friend, or grandparent picking up for the first time, please inform the administration of their name and phone number in writing (the best way is email), prior to pick up and let your alternate pick-up person know that staff will ask to see a photo ID to verify that they are authorized for pick up. Our first priority is to keep every child safe!

Late Pick Up
If you know that you’re running a few minutes behind, please call 512-261-3502 to let us know. During pick up time, the phone may not be our top priority, but we’ll receive your message, which we will pass along to your child’s teacher and to your child so they do not worry. If you pick up after 2:35pm, your child will be sent to after care. You will then be charged at the drop-in rate of $25/hour.

Second Installment Payment
On September 1, the second installment payment since enrollment is automatically drafted from the card used to enroll your child. This will be a recurring payment on the first day of each month through May. If you would like to change the card on file, please do so on your Family Dashboard. As per our family handbook, if a payment is not made within 5 business days of the 1st of the month, a $50 late fee will be assessed.

Receipts
You will receive a receipt after each tuition payment to the email associated with the billing name. You may also login to your Family Dashboard and navigate to billing to find a complete record of your receipts for tax purposes and FSA. Any customized receipts and/or statements will incur a $50 fee per document.
