AB Wade, Author Visit
๐ We have a special visitor coming to Lupine Lane! We are excited to welcome children’s author AB Wade to Lupine Lane on Monday, November 9, from 9:30โ11:00a to read to the children and share some of his wonderful stories!
๐ Get to Know AB Wade: AB Wade writes beautifully illustrated children’s books that explore themes of kindness, friendship, courage, confidence, and celebrating what makes each of us uniqueโmany of the same values we embrace at Lupine Lane. You can learn more about AB, his inspiration, and his books on his website: www.abwade.com
๐ย Explore His Books!:ย We have all five of these books in our Lupine Lane library! You can click here to order a signed copy of 1 or all 5 of AB’s books, and he will bring them to give to your child on 11/9!
- ๐ท Millie Lost Her Nose โ A sweet adventure about a little pig who loses her sense of smell and learns to use her other senses, with a little help from her friends.
- ๐ด Emma Lee Spots Her Spot โ A heartwarming story about self-acceptance, confidence, and discovering that our differences make us special.
- ๐ Maudette Flew the Coop โ A story about courage, kindness, and recognizing our own unique strengths.
- ๐ June Loses to Win โ A wonderful lesson about friendship, compassion, and discovering that doing the right thing can matter more than winning.
- ๐ฆ๐ย The Lion and the Dragonย โ A story about friendship, navigating disagreements, and learning to work together.

Winter is Coming!
๐จ๏ธ It’s time for cold weather again! Please send your child to school with warm clothing and a jacket for outside time.
๐งค As we all know, Texas weather can change on a dime, so it helpful to have a hat and gloves at school for days when it’s particularly cold. We encourage outdoor play all year, as it is important for kids to have ample time outside. As the saying goes, “there’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing.”
๐งฃ Since we have a very limited supply of spare clothing suitable for cold weather, please also switch out your child’s extra set of clothing with cold weather options.

Lobby Display and School Calendar
๐บ Our lobby display screen is up and running! Please check it out each morning for information and reminders that will update weekly.
๐ Additionally, we recommend downloading and printing our School Calendar!
