This Monday we kick off our Summer Season! Â With several new locations and new class additions of Lil’ Music Makers, Music Makers and Fun With Photography, this summer is guaranteed to be a blast! Â Please check our calendar:
https://lupinelane.com/Pages/calendar.html for class locations, dates and times.
First, we’d like to thank the folks at Falcon Pointe for having Lupine Lane out to decorate cookies with the kiddos at the annual Barbeque Cook Off. Â We are excited to head out to Falcon Pointe again next Saturday to tie-dye at the Summer Splash Party!
There are still spots available in our classes at Teravista and Falcon Pointe. Â To sign up, mail or email your registration form to Lupine Lane before classes begin this Friday.
This week we won’t be at Miss Julie’s Learning Center due to graduation. Â Congratulations to all the graduates! Â We will now be offering Kinder Cooks on Fridays beginning June 12th. Â Also, we will be participating in an open house for Miss Julie’s Learning Center on Friday, June 26 after Kinder Cooks.
In all locations with the exception of Clay Madsen, we are able to prorate classes. Â However, it is important to register and pay in advance to ensure that we have enough supplies for each kiddo.
Also, birthday party dates are filling up quickly! Â If you are interested in Lupine Lane’s handcrafted birthday parties, email or call us to secure a date.
On to this week’s classes! Â We will begin our “Ocean Session” this week!
In Lil’ Absolutely Art and Absolutely Art, we will be decorating a beach bucket cap. Â Then, children will paint a watercolor of themselves on a beach wearing their newly designed hat.
In Lil’ Kinder Cooks and Kinder Cooks, we will be making delicious, not-so-crabby crab cakes, using my Italian Grandmother’s recipe! Â We will also make a delectable sauce for our crabby cakes!
In Lil’ Music Makers and Music Makers, we will start with circle time and get to know each other with a basic song. Â Then, we’ll use puppets to act out “Sammy’s Song.” Â We will get an introduction to the instruments we will be using throughout the class as we march to the Grand Ol’ Duke of York. Â This song and “Pop Goes the Weasel” will allow children to utilize their listening skills to move to the beat and play an instrument at the same time.
In Fun With Photography, we will begin our class with an explanation of lighting. Â Children will gain an understanding of the type of light that is needed to create a high contrast image. Â Then, we will load the images onto the computer to create Andy Warhol style images of each child. Â Students will print 2 of their favorite styles.
We are ecstatic about beginning our summer season and meeting all of the new folks participating in classes, birthday parties and other events!
