Hello Everyone! A couple of notes before the lessons. First, this week, there will be different lessons at different locations due to the day the 1st of the month falls. I will note that in the lessons. Second, our class times at the Lakeway Activity Center are changing this week. Check out our calendar for up-to-date times. In October, we’ll focus on France. And, we’ll also focus a bit on Halloween.
Lil’ Absolutely Art and Absolutely Art
At Clay Madsen, we’ll finish up our Caribbean month by staining a wooden frame and decorating it with dulled sea glass. We’ll also create a tropical fish.
In Lakeway, we’ll begin our month of France and Halloween. We’ll be creating a stained glass look on a vase and creating a tissue paper flower. Then, we’ll learn a bit about Monet and paint a water lilly landscape similar to his famous work.
Lil’ Kinder Cooks and Kinder Cooks
At Clay Madsen, we’ll finish up our Caribbean month by making some delicious jerk chicken and kabobs and making Jamaican Rice and Peas.
In Lakeway, we’ll begin our month of France and make Chicken Cordon Bleu and Green Bean Almondine.
Lil’ Music Makers and Music Makers
At Clay Madsen, we’ll finish up our month of reggae and calypso music and learn a new calypso beat.
In Lakeway, we’ll begin our month filled with French songs.
The After School Supper Club
We’ll begin our month of French Dinners! We’ll make Chicken Cordon Bleu, Green Bean Almondine and Potatoes Au Gratin!
