๐Ÿ‚ So Very Grateful! ๐Ÿ‚

๐Ÿงก Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made Fall Fest such a spectacular afternoon at Lupine Lane! ๐Ÿชป

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿซ From our AMAZING Teachersโ€™ thoughtful, exciting activities along the ๐Ÿงช Spooky Sensory Journey through the classrooms to ๐Ÿ‘ป Mr. Carlโ€™s legendary Haunted House, ๐ŸŽƒ Ms. Jess and the Pumpkin Patch, and pony rides with ๐Ÿด Takotaโ€™s Ponies, there was wonder and excitement around every corner!

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿณ Ms. Phoebe, Ms. Donna, and Ms. Brooklynโ€™s creative pumpkin snack spread added delicious fun, while the Frost Bank crew brought smiles with their piggy banks and balloon artist! ๐ŸŽˆ

๐Ÿงก These moments become part of our childrenโ€™s stories. Former Lupine Lane kiddosโ€”now all grown upโ€”have returned to share their memories of this special afternoon. We hope your children will carry that same joy in their hearts for years to come. โœจ

๐Ÿฆธย Our Friday Halloween celebration was just as sweet!ย The children were so excited to share their costumes! They delighted us with their parade and little performances, then impressed everyone with their โ€œtricks for a treatโ€ during our school-wide trick-or-treating! ๐Ÿ‘‘

๐Ÿ’› What a wonderful way to begin a season filled with festive gatherings, shared traditions, and new memories. Thank you for the creativity, love, and joy you bring to Lupine Laneโ€”and for making our community such a special place for the small and the tall! ๐Ÿ

AB Wade, Author Visit

๐Ÿ“š We have a special visitor coming to Lupine Lane! We are excited to welcome children’s author AB Wade to Lupine Lane on Monday, November 9, from 9:30โ€“11:00a to read to the children and share some of his wonderful stories!

๐ŸŒŸ Get to Know AB Wade: AB Wade writes beautifully illustrated children’s books that explore themes of kindness, friendship, courage, confidence, and celebrating what makes each of us uniqueโ€”many of the same values we embrace at Lupine Lane. You can learn more about AB, his inspiration, and his books on his website: www.abwade.com

๐Ÿ“–ย Explore His Books!:ย We have all five of these books in our Lupine Lane library! You can click here to order a signed copy of 1 or all 5 of AB’s books, and he will bring them to give to your child on 11/9!

  • ๐Ÿท Millie Lost Her Nose โ€” A sweet adventure about a little pig who loses her sense of smell and learns to use her other senses, with a little help from her friends.
  • ๐Ÿด Emma Lee Spots Her Spot โ€” A heartwarming story about self-acceptance, confidence, and discovering that our differences make us special.
  • ๐Ÿ” Maudette Flew the Coop โ€” A story about courage, kindness, and recognizing our own unique strengths.
  • ๐ŸŽ June Loses to Win โ€” A wonderful lesson about friendship, compassion, and discovering that doing the right thing can matter more than winning.
  • ๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿ‰ย The Lion and the Dragonย โ€” A story about friendship, navigating disagreements, and learning to work together.

Winter is Coming!

๐ŸŒจ๏ธ It’s time for cold weather again!  Please send your child to school with warm clothing and a jacket for outside time.

๐Ÿงค As we all know, Texas weather can change on a dime, so it helpful to have a hat and gloves at school for days when it’s particularly cold.  We encourage outdoor play all year, as it is important for kids to have ample time outside.  As the saying goes, “there’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing.”

๐Ÿงฃ Since we have a very limited supply of spare clothing suitable for cold weather, please also switch out your child’s extra set of clothing with cold weather options.

Lobby Display and School Calendar

๐Ÿ“บ Our lobby display screen is up and running!  Please check it out each morning for information and reminders that will update weekly.

๐Ÿ“† Additionally, we recommend downloading and printing our School Calendar!

Angel Tree

๐Ÿ‘ผ Since 2010, Lupine Lane has taken part in the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program. ย For those who wish to participate, most spend about $100 on their little Angel. ย You may select an Angel here.ย ย Each Angel’s name and gift ideas are listed on their tag.

โ™ฅ๏ธ Kindly bring the unwrapped items with the angel tag back to school by 12/1.

๐Ÿค Through your kindness and generosity, the Lupine Lane Community made Christmas very special for 70 kids last year, and this year we are aiming to make Christmas special for a whole new group! ย We appreciate your incredible holiday spirit!

A December Full of Wonder

๐ŸŽ„ At Lupine Lane, we love creating holiday traditions that bring our community together! Each Friday in December offers a special celebration filled with imagination, joy, and connection, culminating in our beloved Gingerbread Party.

๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ With golden tickets in hand and cozy holiday pajamas on, the children will hop aboard an imaginary train for a magical journey to the North Pole! Along the way, theyโ€™ll travel from classroom to classroom, watching portions of the classic movie and enjoying seasonal activities that celebrate friendship, bravery, and the holiday spirit.

๐Ÿ”” Our adventure will conclude in the Great Room, where everyone will gather to watch the movieโ€™s finale and receive their very own frozen bellโ€”the first gift of the season and a little reminder of the wonder we can share.

๐Ÿ’š Growing Our Hearts on Grinch Day!

๐ŸŽ„ Children are invited to dress as their favorite Grinch story characters for a day celebrating love, kindness, and togetherness! Through playful activities, the beloved book and movie, and themed lunch and snacks, weโ€™ll explore how caring for one another can help all of our hearts grow.
