Hello, I’m Miss Brooklyn, one of the School Cooks at Lupine Lane.
I grew up in Lubbock, Texas, where I developed a passion for cooking early on. During high school, I had the privilege of working with the special education department, where I helped students develop practical cooking and personal skills through culinary lessons. This experience sparked my love for using food as a way to teach, nurture, and empower others.
In May 2022, I moved to Austin to pursue my dream of becoming a professional chef. I graduated with an Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts from Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, where I honed my skills and deepened my appreciation for both the artistry and science behind food.
Before joining Lupine Lane, I worked as an Executive Pastry Chef for several years, managing catering events and running my own department. Those years gave me invaluable experience in leadership, creativity, and the importance of working as a team to create memorable meals.
As the school cook, I’m dedicated to providing meals that not only taste great but are also healthy and nourishing for our students. I’m always looking for ways to introduce new flavors and fun dishes, and I take pride in knowing that the food I prepare plays a small part in helping our students thrive.
Outside of the kitchen here, I enjoy experimenting with new recipes, reading, and spending time with my dog. Food is a way to bring people together, and I’m excited to share that experience with the Lupine Lane community.
