Lego Robotics

I – AM – A – ROBOT! Robots are a result of creative engineering, as are Lego structures. A camp that combines the two allows children to put their STEAM skills to use as they plan and make a robot function. The Lego Mindstorms Education NXT Base Set and 2.1 Software will serve as the foundation for the endless NXT robotic creations.  Kids will use NXT Intelligent Bricks, rechargeable batteries, 3 servo motors with rotation sensors, light, sound, touch and ultrasonic sensors as well as hundreds of Lego’s patented Technic building elements.

All creations will be photographed and a CD will be burned.  If campers wish to keep their creations, they can do so for an additional $100, which they can decide at the culmination of the week.
