Hello! I’m Jessica Askey. I grew up here in Austin, Texas, and earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

My background in both the arts and education inspires me to bring creativity, curiosity, and joy into the classroom. I taught acting and summer camp classes at TexARTS and worked as a Music Teacher Aide with Lake Travis ISD, where I learned how meaningful it is to support children as they explore, create, and grow with confidence.

I strive to create a nurturing classroom where every child feels valued and supported. I love encouraging curiosity, guiding each child’s growth, and celebrating the process of learning and self-expression.

Outside of school, you can find me spending time outdoors, attending my local farmers market, listening to music, and trying new recipes.
